WORKSHOP WITH KAY LAURENCE: "THE SIGNIFICANT CLICK"

As a culmination of the Karen Pryor and Kay Laurence conferences, Kay Laurence will offer a workshop on Sunday 15th.

The Significant Click: A 1% difference may not seem very relevant or important but has a 100% impact on the student and in the result. We will develop the true meaning of the click. Everything is in the detail: small changes produce big impact, sligth changes , major differences. This detailed attention will ensure the appropriate click, relevant and very important in our efforts to lead our students to success.

Kay Laurence will explain how we can increase the value of our click paying attention what happens before you get the behavior and give the reinforcement.

Understanding something and apply something can be two different worlds. This is your chance to learn how to accurately apply what you have learned. This is the most effective way to complete your understanding. Doing and seeing first hand how it is done.

We will use the knowledge gained in the lecture on Saturday 14th in order to offer this highly practical workshop.

On Sunday again we will enjoy the Kay Laurence great ability as a trainer of trainers.

In this practical workshop "The Significant Click" we will see in action Kay Laurence showing us the great importance of accurance and observation in order to build the correct behavior we are looking for with our dog.

Several dogs with their owners-trainers can practice in live demonstrations. The rest of us will observe everything that happens and how the click really facilitate the compression the exercise to the dog (or any animal we want to train).

Kay Laurence

Kay has lived intimately with many dogs over many years observing their daily interactions, their puppy rearing and sharing in their activities.
